I didn’t write this. But I figured that it would help at least one person out there.
Heavenly Father, as your daughter, I come to you with all of my hopes and fears. You alone perfectly understand the desires of my heart, and even its most hidden wounds. At times I have turned from you, doubting your love for me. You have created me for love, but I have all too often sought to find that love apart from your plan for me. In the future, when I am tempted to run from you, please help me to trust in you. When I am tempted to settle for the kind of relationships that distract me from you, teach me how to love. When I begin to believe that world’s empty idea of beauty, help me to see my body as you see it. For it is only with you that I can become who you created me to be. By your grace, may I desire nothing less. Amen.
Blessed Virgin Mary, you are a model of strength, humility, and gracefulness for all women. Because you opened your heart to God’s plan, you gave Life to the world.

In the book of John it states that “God is Love”
Therefore, we are created in the image and likeness of Love.
Allow me, as a representative of the male side of the human race, to say how deeply sorry I am for the ways my lusts and the lusts of other men have wounded you. Allow me to say how deeply sorry I am for the failures of men to love you, to honor you, to uphold and defend your dignity as a woman. These wounds go very deep in a woman’s heart. Please forgive us.
